Jamia Hamdard Admission 2025

Jamia Hamdard admits students on the basis of both merit and entrance examination. The institution accepts national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, NEET-UG, and CAT for admission to specialized degrees. The university administers written tests and interviews for M.Phil and PhD programs. Jamia Hamdard (Deemed-to-be) offers approximately 100 undergraduate, graduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in Medicine, Science, Arts, Management, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Health Sciences, among others, on campus and through four affiliated institutions.

In addition to traditional courses, it has a distance learning vertical known as the Jamia Hamdard Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), which provides students with a wide range of UG, PG, Diploma, and certificate programs.

Jamia Hamdard Facilities

Jamia Hamdard University offers a large campus and several facilities for students. The deemed institution provides dormitory accommodations for postgraduate and undergraduate students. Hamdard University sports facilities include a basketball court, a badminton court, a football field, and others. Jamia Hamdard University has two connected hospitals: the 150-bed Unani Medicine Hospital and the 550-bed Modem Medicine Hospital. Jamia Hamdard University also has a central library.

Additionally, due to the scarcity of hostel spaces, students should be aware that admission to the university does not guarantee hostel lodging. Annual hostel fees are due in advance at the time of allotment. The student admitted to the hostel will be required to join the mess and pay mess charges three months in advance at the rates specified from time to time. Mess rates may be altered at any time owing to price increases in food items. The hostel mess will be operated cooperatively under the supervision of hostel management, with no profit or loss.

The University will supply the necessary infrastructure and people to operate the mess. All Jamia Hamdard Hostel allottees must use the Mess. Students admitted to the hostel are only permitted to stay during the academic session and are expected to depart the rooms during the summer vacations for maintenance purposes. Washing clothing on the hostel grounds is not permitted.
