The Central University Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) was founded in 1998 by a parliamentary act. It is named in honor of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, who was India's first Minister of Education, a scholar of Islam and Urdu language, and a freedom fighter during the country's independence. The 200-acre MANUU campus and administrative buildings are located in Hyderabad, Telangana State's Gachibowli neighborhood. There are now 97 programs offered by MANUU in both conventional and distance formats. Through Industrial Training Institutes, it also offers vocational education (08 Certificate Trades). MANUU regularly updates its curriculum offerings and provides a flexible academic framework through a Choice Based Credit System. MANUU operates in 13 Indian states. Nearly 5,000 students are enrolled in various academic programs across campuses.
Through a variety of programs, the university seeks to advance and strengthen the Urdu language in order to provide instruction and training in technical and vocational fields. MANUU Hyderabad University has received an A grade from the NAAC and recognition from the UGC.
The seven colleges that make up Maulana Azad University include around 20 departments that offer research and master's degree programs. The three main courses that MANUU offers are BSc, BTech, and MBA. Additionally, it provides a number of academic programs in the field of distance learning. MANUU Courses and Fees
MANUU provides programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels in a number of fields. MANUU Placement
A specialized placement cell at Maulana Azad National Urdu University is essential for finding employment possibilities in a variety of professions. MANUU Facilities
The administration buildings, all departments and schools of study, all centers and directorates, four hostels for boys and two for girls, two guest houses, a health center, five auditoriums, an open-air auditorium complex, a library, polytechnic, ITI, a sports field, an indoor stadium, Central Park, the office of the dean of student welfare, the proctor's office, a bank, a post office, and residential staff quarters are all located on the MANUU campus in Hyderabad.
