National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) based in Delhi, established in 1986 with one program of Fashion Design and later on, it has grown into a full fledged college in the year of 1994 . It was designed by Dr. B.V. Doshi. NIFT Delhi is one of the well known fashion institutions of India. NIFT Delhi is a constituent of NIFT colleges in india. NIFT Delhi has its permanent campus and it is approved by the central government of india. Also, NIFT Delhi offers programs like UG , PG . For these programs it offers different courses which include BDesign in various courses, BFTech in various courses etc, MDesign, MF Tech etc in various departments. Every year, NIFT Delhi offers around 500+ seats for eligible students. Also, NIFT Delhi provides Facilities like auditoriums , labs, luxury hostels, Gym, sports complex , library full of available books and many others.

Courses and Fees

5. Application fees for general category students is 2500/- and 500/- for reservation candidates.
6. Print the application and keep it for future use.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility Criteria will differ for various programs. Under the UG program, for BDesign, F Technology in related disciplines, it requires candidates with a good merit in a 10+2 equivalent exam with a relevant subject and a NIFT GAT/CAT score. For courses of PG like MDesign, MF Technology, MFM in various disciplines, it requires the graduate in relevant disciplines with a good merit and a NIFT GAT/CAT score.

The alumni of the NIFT Delhi states that it has the best placement rate compared to other fashion technology colleges.

The placements session of Phase 1 at NIFT Delhi begins in the month of April as follows the dates on 22 to 26th april both for pg and ug and phase 2 will be held from may 15 to may 18.it is also stated that students will be motivated during these days to achieve a offer in hand. The placement cell at NIFT Delhi, helps students to achieve their dream job offers by conducting various orientation programs and training sessions. The main plus is it provides one on one sessions for betterment of students' knowledge in placement sessions.

NIFT Delhi , provides luxurious hostels for girls. It provides sharing rooms with the facilities of wifi, chairs, tables , bed etc. hostels with mess facilities. For registration of hostels, students are required to fill the registration form. The cost of the hostel with mess varies in the range from 1,20,000 to 1,22,000 .
